Learning Objectives Participants should be able to differentiate peripheral neurological injuries in athletes by integrating mechanism, pattern-based exam, and targeted provocative maneuvers through case vignettes; select and time diagnostic tests (focused exam, EMG/NCS, ultrasound, MRI) to confirm diagnosis, inform prognosis, and guide return-to-play (RTP) decisions; identify red flags requiring urgent intervention; and apply RTP algorithms and counseling pearls in coordination with physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other specialists.
