Participants should be able to differentiate fatigue from sleepiness, apathy, and depression in neurology patients; recognize the prevalence, clinical features, and impact of fatigue across key neurological disorders (MS, Parkinson’s, stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular disease, long COVID); apply a structured approach to evaluating fatigue, including relevant history, examination, screening tools, and laboratory/ancillary testing; implement evidence-based management strategies (pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic) with emphasis on sleep medicine principles, exercise, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and treatment of comorbidities; and engage in case-based discussions that highlight practical pearls and pitfalls in addressing fatigue across diverse neuro clinics.
