Learning Objectives This course explores the benefits and challenges of concierge and direct pay neurology practices, including enhanced patient care, financial sustainability, and regulatory considerations. Participants should gain practical guidance on launching and managing a successful practice, from business planning and marketing to operational setup and compliance. By the end of this course, participants should be able to compare multiple direct-pay neurology models including concierge, hybrid membership, and subscription cognitive care in terms of financial sustainability and patient access; identify neurology-specific service lines (e.g., migraine procedures, neuromodulation, EMG/NCS bundles, wearable-based monitoring) that succeed within direct-pay frameworks; apply AI-driven tools and clinical automation strategies to improve practice efficiency, documentation, triage, and revenue capturing; develop a clear sequence of operational steps required to transition from insurance-based reimbursement to a compliant direct-pay neurology practice; and design an actionable workflow using EHR optimization, pricing architecture, staff training, and safety protocols for non-insurance neurology care.
