This fast-paced, evidence-informed session compares leading ambient documentation models—EHR-native, integrated add-ons, and standalone tools—through an AAN-aligned lens: privacy, accuracy, integration, clinician burden, cost, and equity. Attendees will receive a five-step “safe rollout” checklist grounded in AAN quality and guideline resources, including security, human-in-the-loop validation, and bias mitigation. We will show how ambient documentation can reclaim time, reduce disparities in care documentation, and improve reporting consistency, directly supporting AAN’s practice optimization and advocacy priorities.
