Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease are the two most common neurodegenerative disorders in the world. As the US population continues to age, the number of Americans living with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s is outpacing the supply of neurologists. This interactive program will explore the ways in which disease foundations/ associations can make your job easier – through collaboration, patient support and education, professional education, grants, advocacy and more. The Alzheimer’s Association and the Parkinson’s Foundation are here to support clinicians as they navigate these challenging, complex illnesses with their patients and their patients’ families.
