Global Health and Neuroepidemiology
Participants should be able to identify the major global risk factors for non-communicable diseases including stroke; list the most frequent nervous system infections in developing countries; discuss the role of international agencies and NGOs in the care and treatment of people with neurological disorders; and review the key barriers to conducting basic and clinical research in resource-limited countries.
