Participants should be able to develop strategies for diagnosis and assessment of patients with sleep disturbances likely to be encountered by neurologists; evaluate, assess, and list the differential diagnosis for patients who present with abnormal motor activities during sleep; and complex nocturnal behaviors; and appreciate standard of care and new treatment options for sleep-related breathing disorder. Participants should also recognize the importance of when to order polysomnography in their clinical practice.
