Learning Objectives Participants should be able to describe strengths and weaknesses of a variety of approaches (e.g., neuroimaging methods) toward identifying structure-function relationships, and should be able to describe some recent insights into the neural bases of executive function, social behavior, language, memory, and visual cognition. Participants should be able to describe the component processes of these cognitive abilities using a contemporary cognitive neuroscience perspective. Participants should increase their sophistication in understanding the neurobehavioral assessment of patients with behavioral and cognitive neurologic disorders, including dementias.
