Upon completion:
Participants should be able to describe the AAN's patient safety efforts; understand the role of EMR and other digital tools, working towards creating safe neurological practices; better handle prescription management; implement strategies for minimizing medical errors; understand and address barriers to safe neurological care posed by low health literacy; discuss the laboratory and radiology sources of error; and describe strategies for reducing risk for neurology patients when being admitted to hospitals.
