Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology (EEG)
Participants should be able to identify the semiology of neonatal seizures; understand the pathophysiology of neonatal seizures; know the differential diagnosis and understand the difference between a neonatal seizure and neonatal epilepsy; know the diagnostic and prognostic EEG patterns for neonatal seizures; recognize the important points from the fetal history; know the evidence-based anticonvulsant treatment for neonatal seizures; and be aware of newer methods for monitoring neonatal seizures (EEG and neuroimaging), the various digital trending tools available, and how these help with management.
