Upon completions the participant should be able to apply basic knowledge of general internal medicine and its major speciaties to the patient with a neurological complaint. The participant will be able to approach a patient with a neurological complication of a general medical problem such that she can assess the problem accurately and create a set of recommendations for further evaulation and treatment to the treating doctors. The participant will be able to apply general prinicples used to analyze the case studies presented in the course to a large array of common neurological problems seen in patients with general medical diseases.
