Learning Objectives Participants should be able to understand evidence base for treatment of seizures, venous thromboembolism, and infections in vulnerable cancer populations; recognize less common syndromes such as CLIPPERS and central neurogenic hyperventilation and MRI abnormalites that suggest lymphoma; understand the evidence on which the increasing use of memantine during cranial radiation is based; recognize complications of cytotoxic therapies such as methotrexate and ifosfamide; understand the evidence for the entity of chemobrain and be able to recognize SMART syndrome; and have a sense of the types of ongoing neurologic surveillance appropriate for long-term cancer survivors.
