Learning Objectives Participants should be able to recommend appropriate lifestyle changes for stroke prevention, select patients for treatment with a statin, identify patients who would benefit from treatment with a platelet antiaggregant regimen for primary and secondary stroke prevention, and identify patients with atrial fibrillation who would benefit from treatment with warfarin or a novel oral anticoagulant.
