Participants will understand the principles of evidence-based medicine and critical review, and how these apply to the bedside practice of neurology; be able to deconstruct published articles addressing therapeutic questions, assess their accuracy and rigor, and make appropriate evidence-based clinical decisions; dramatically reduce their susceptibility to being misled by bias and the misuse of statistical procedures; and feel comfortable developing, investigating, and publishing the findings of their own clinical research questions.
