1) Identify novel, evidence-informed methods for assessing clinical reasoning in medical learners.
2) Describe the principles of the script concordance test, a written assessment of clinical reasoning under conditions of uncertainty.
3) Describe how visual scanning patterns can be used to characterize and assess neurologic learning.
4) Describe emerging findings that reveal how brain imaging techniques might inform our understanding and assessment of clinical reasoning.
