Learning Objectives Participants should be able to recognize “update issues” as they pertain to areas of overlap between internal medicine and neurology, and be able to recognize neurologic complications of cardiac and aortic disease, including complications from cardiac arrhythmias, patent foramen ovale, endocarditis, cardiac tumors, and aortic aneurysm and/or dissection.
