Upon completion:
Participants should have a working knowledge of current concepts of neurodegeneration; be able to provide patients and their families with Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, ALS, and Huntington's disease a better understanding of the underlying nature of these conditions tempered with realistic expectations; and be able to assist patients in interpreting media-derived information about new discoveries in this field.
