Participants should be better able to interpret EEGs in critically ill patients; understand the indications for and interpretation of prolonged EEG monitoring in these patients; diagnose and manage nonconvulsive seizures; treat status epilepticus efficiently; manage seizures in patients with complex medical conditions; and utilize multimodality brain monitoring in patients with acute neurological disease.
