Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology (EEG)
Participants should be able to recognize when a patient meets criteria for acute repetitive seizures, status epilepticus, and drug resistant epilepsy. Participants should be able to know the latest therapeutic approaches to these patients in a variety of settings from home, to outpatient clinic, and in the hospital. Participants should recognize when to consider treatments in addition to AEDs and which ones to consider given a specific patient seizure type and clinical scenario. Participants will become more familiar with classifying seizures through video presentations.
