Upon Completion:
Participants should be able to evaluate essential features of commercial EHR systems; understand aspects to consider when choosing an EHR, including financing, interoperability, standardization, and connectivity of clinical information systems; help with redesign of work flow, technical support, and training, issues with change management; select functionalities that best serve their practice needs; understand how to perform a basic EHR cost analysis; and anticipate and avoid or resolve common EHR implementation problems.
