Upon Completion:
Participants should be able to recommend safe treatment options for headaches during pregnancy; evaluate strokes and be familiar with which medical therapies and interventions are optimal during pregnancy; discuss the impact of pregnancy on the course of multiple sclerosis; know the best treatment options for multiple sclerosis during pregnancy; understand the risks of seizures and various antiepileptic drug regimens during pregnancy; recognize the features of pre-eclampsia, its neurological consequences, and how to best treat them; identify common neuromuscular complications during pregnancy, labor, and delivery; and be aware of the potential effects of maternal myasthenia gravis on the fetus and neonate.
