Participants should understand the rationale for the use of RTI as a primary or surrogate outcome measure in the CALM-PD, REAL-PET and ELLDOPA clinical trials; understand why clinical and RTI outcome measures may appear disparate in these trials; and understand the role that nigrostriatal RTI may play in future clinical trials in PD.
