Participants should become familiar with the differential diagnosis and evaluation of patients based on common and uncommon neuromuscular presentations, including the approach to genetic testing, antibody panels, biopsies, and newer nomenclature such as dropped heads, isolated calf atrophy, isolated diaphragmatic paralysis, MAMA, DADS, BAD, and MADSAM.
