Participants should understand the anatomy and physiology underlying nerve conduction studies; understand basic patterns of nerve conduction study abnormalities; understand the physiology and utility of F waves, H reflexes, and blink reflexes; be able to identify and correct technical problems on nerve conduction studies; and learn to recognize and interpret the significance of EMG waveforms.
