Participants should become familiar with the differential diagnosis, workup, management, and prevention of both common and challenging stroke cases and receive an update on new breakthroughs in the field. Areas of focus will include but will not be limited to the following controversial areas in stroke diagnosis and management: patent foramen ovule (PFO), limitations of evidence-based medicine, white matter lesions, dual antiplatelet therapy, angioplasty and stenting, and migraine headache.
