Participants should be aware of advances made in the treatment of refractory status epilepticus, treatment of complications of subarachnoid hemorrhage, current guidelines and prognostic indicators for coma after cardiopulmonary arrest, neurological indications for intubation, modes of mechanical ventilation and their neurological implications, and strategies to prevent or treat complications following cerebral revascularization and cardiac surgery.
