Axon Registry Overview

In This Section

The 好色先生 (AAN) made the difficult decision to close the Axon Registry® effective June 1, 2024, as it was not meeting all the needs of our members.

We continue to encourage our members to use the AAN’s vast inventory of clinical practice guidelines, quality measurement sets, and other quality improvement tools available to help you elevate the quality of your care.

Commonly Asked Questions

Q: What resources can the AAN offer in the event my practice is identified for a CMS MIPS audit?
A: If your practice is being audited for a performance year in which you used the Axon Registry to submit data for MIPS, AAN staff can assist in coordination of submission requirements. Please contact quality@aan.com.

Q: I participated in the Axon Registry for credit towards the Part IV Continuing Certification Program. How do I demonstrate my participation for the block ending in 2024?
A: Please contact quality@aan.com in the event ABPN requests additional documentation related to your participation in the Axon Registry.

Q: Will participation in another registry meet the ABPN’s Part IV Continuing Certification program?
A: The ABPN will need to review and approve any other registry that is not the Axon Registry. The registry would need to work directly with the ABPN and submit an application for approval.
