Neurology Practice Award
About
This award is designed to recognize a private neurology practice for excellence in quality care and service to the community. This award honors the entire practice team, which could include advanced practice providers, business administrators, and/or other clinical support staff.

- Notifications sent: By end of January 2027
Benefits
The winner will receive an honorary plaque and recognition at the Annual Meeting and in AAN member publications.
Eligibility
Applicants represent a private neurology practice. Private multispecialty practices are eligible to apply.
Applicants must attest that they meet the AAN definition of a Private Practice, which is considered a “practice in which the physician(s) own a contractual, controlling, or substantial financial interest in the practice’s success or failure.”
The intent of this award is to recognize a private practice that is wholly owned and operated by independent physicians, rather than one that is tied to a hospital system, university, or other corporate entity.
Application procedure
Whether self-applying or nominating a practice, applicants should submit the completed application form, which includes long-form questions about the practice's service to the community and excellence in quality care.
