Attendees celebrated and supported brain disease research while learning about new breakthroughs and hearing extraordinary stories from those living with brain disease.

Advocacy Day

The 2025 Presidential Plenary Session focused on advocacy in neurology. To expand on this theme, the Practice and Policy Hub featured an entire day of programming designed to help participants build key skills for engaging in AAN advocacy.

Futures in Neurological Research Boot Camp

A perfect opportunity for medical students, residents, and fellows to receive resources on successful research strategies and outcomes and take part in valuable networking and table discussions.

Business Administrator Day

Attendees explored how neurology business leaders can bring principles inspired by the ocean into their work environments. Sessions focused on the latest trends in health care management, strategies for working with new physician leaders and the next generation of administrators, and the importance of maintaining a work-life balance in a demanding industry.

Medical Student Symposium: Careers in Neurology

Medical students familiarized themselves with the various subspecialty areas in neurology while making meaningful connections with residents and neurologists.

Trainee and Faculty Networking Reception

Trainees and faculty heard about and shared experiences, as well as prospects of clerkship, residency, fellowships, and other neurology career opportunities.

Pickleball

Attendees played pickleball each day of the Annual Meeting. This was a great opportunity to play and learn in a fun and supportive environment.

Rest is good for your brain! Take a mental pause, relax, and refresh with your friends over these fun activities throughout the convention center.

Exhibit Hall

Exhibit Hall networking and events

The exhibit hall featured social and networking events, including:

  • Opening Luncheon: Fun, food, and entertainment.
  • Networking Crawl: A walking food tour around the exhibit hall with delicious fare while discovering new cuisines and new contacts.
  • Puppy Park: Pet, play, and snap photos with lots of cute, furry friends.
